Algarve Offgrid had an very interesting challenge set by Gary in Portimão.

The previous solar guy had installed a tiny 5kW inverter which could not cope with a 4 bedroom villa including a pool.

The team initially was invited to review the property and provide a full energy report. We spent around 2 hours on site talking with the property owners to fully understand their energy needs and requirements. The project assessment was completed and delivered next day, which included our recommended solar system to cover their energy needs.

We recommended a larger single phase hybrid solar system totalling 16kW. Furthermore, 24 solar panels where installed to cover the energy usage. The battery backup for evening energy usage was provided by 10 x 2.5kW Pylontech Lithium batteries.
